What is Jump into January?
In 2009 a small group of praying women gathered in Laurel, MD to start the year off with a bang! Our goal was to see women set free from weights and worries in order to seize all God had for them.
That weekend kicked off a movement and in a flash "Jump into January with Jeans and Jesus" was born.
Ten years later hundreds of women come together representing every branch of the Christian faith from Catholic to Lutheran to Pentecostal and more. Attendees travel from all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, the District of Columbia, North Carolina and Florida to be a part of this momentous weekend.
In 2017 we decide to broadcast live via social media where more than 100,000 people tuned in to receive from the Lord!

Why Jeans?
Every now and then someone asks "Why do you wear jeans?"
We want everyone to feel comfortable so the dress code for JIJ is jeans. There are some conferences, high teas and prayer breakfasts that require a new outfit, hair and heels to match - that's fine and we love to go to those events - but JIJ is different.
Our ladies come from diverse soci-economic backgrounds and we want to make the event as cost effective as possible.
We want the focus to be on Jesus Christ rather than watching what your sister is wearing.
Plus - who doesn't have a pair of jeans to wear?
Lastly, for our holiness sisters who can not wear pants - please grab a jean skirt or denim dress and join us.

Women Walking in Wisdom, Inc. is a vibrant non-profit (501C-3) ministry designed to assist women from all denominations in living a healthy, wealthy, and wise life that is centered around Jesus Christ. Our members have home churches and come to monthly meetings for additional prayer time, bible study, food, fun & fellowship. In 2011, WWW added several serving/giving opportunities to our calendar to aid members in walking out the commands of Matthew 6.
We invite you to join us at our monthly meetings or at any of our events. Our goal will always be to celebrate Jesus and encourage one another in the faith. We KNOW you will be blessed.
VISION
To bring unity in the body of Christ by building women of excellence through the values set forth in the written Word of God. Our goal is to touch one woman at a time through the principles set forth in Matthew 6 - Giving. Praying. Fasting. Our vision is to see Women Walking in Wisdom Chapters meet throughout the United States. Our international reach begins with funding short term missions trips and within this decade we wish to establish a presence overseas by providing much needed services such as health care and micro businesses.
MISSION
To provide a spiritual safe haven from denominational division during our Saturday morning worship session for women of every Christian organization and cultural background, where the foundational truths of the Word God are emphasized through teaching, preaching, worship and prayer in an open discussion format, allowing each woman to experience the presence of God and worship Christ freely.
